Mr. Jensen started his first semester/year of teaching at Sanborn Central School in January of 2008. He works with instrumental music students in grades 5 – 12. 

Originally from Sioux Falls, Mr. Jensen graduated from Lincoln High School in 2001 and most recently in 2007 from South Dakota State University.  While at S.D.S.U., he was an avid performer in numerous ensembles including the Pride of the Dakotas Drumline, the Rosewood Rabbits Marimba Band, various percussion ensembles, the Pep Band and Symphonic Band. 

Mr. Jensen spends most of his free time lounging around or enjoying some sort of musical activity, whether listening to or performing.  During the summer, he enjoys seeing any type of live music, especially the Dave Matthews Band.  He is a member of the newly formed Stormfront Drumline.  This drumline will perform at all Sioux Falls Storm home games for the 2008 season as well as other events in the Eastern South Dakota area.  When not performing, Mr. Jensen enjoys playing golf, watching sports (golf, tennis, the Boston Red Sox) and watching any type of fascinating television show.
