Monica Larson is employed at Sanborn Central School as a Special Education Paraprofessional. She was last employed with the Midland School District as a Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd Grade teacher.

Ms. Larson's parents farm in Castlewood. She has 3 older sisters. One of them teaches in Winner and one of them is Jennifer Larson, the 1st grade teacher at Sanborn Central. She also has a brother-in-law and a niece and nephew who live close by.

Ms. Larson graduated from Northern State University and recently started their graduate program as well. In her spare time she enjoys reading, music and playing with her niece and nephew.
