Mrs. Schmit - Kindergarten Teacher
Profile by Michael

Mrs. Schmit Mrs. Schmidt teaches kindergarten. “I enjoy teaching reading!” In kindergarten they learn “animated alphabet” and she enjoys teaching this. She likes the fact that the students are getting a good education. The class sizes are smaller than the bigger schools and she feels that the students are getting more attention and, therefore, are learning more. There is not as much violence in smaller schools, also.

Her first name is Cheryl. She has a daughter, Ashley, and a son, Austin. Both attend school at Sanborn Central. She has a dog named Jubby and a horse named Ruby. She enjoys baking and walking and spending quality time with her family. She attended Artesian High School and Dakota State University. She was born in Mitchell, SD. Her favorite book to read is "The Rainbow Fish" by Marcus Pfister. She enjoys reading this book to her students every year. She liked science, especially dissecting things. Her favorite things are the color red, the food shrimp, the drink Diet Coke, and the sport team Orlando Magic. She played basketball and track. She played the clarinet in band.

She sounds like a really nice teacher.
