Joe Shepardson is teaching 4th grade at Sanborn Central this year, as well being Head Boys’ Basketball Coach, Head Track Coach, and Junior High Football Coach.  This is Mr. Shepardson’s first year of teaching, although he coached for Sanborn Central last year as well.

Mr. Shepardson graduated from Sturgis Brown High School in 2001 and from Dakota Wesleyan University in 2005. His mom lives in Sturgis and works for State Farm Insurance. His dad lives in Brookings and owns the Hardware Hank store there. He has 4 brothers (Adoph, 28; Wayne, 26; Cody, 11; and Tanner, 5) and 1 sister (Kaycee, 13). He also has 1 niece (Izsabell, 3).

Mr. Shepardon’s hobbies include watching sports (especially the Denver Broncos), playing sports (especially golf, basketball and softball) and watching movies.
