Philosophy of Homework Reading Recovery is an early intervention for literacy learning. The goal of Reading Recovery is for children to develop effective reading and writing strategies in order to work within an average range of classroom performance. Each student takes home special books to read. The students are encouraged to read and write. Grading Policy Reading Recovery students are not graded. Schedule Reading Recovery is offered in the mornings, Monday through Friday. Contact Information If you have any questions or concerns, please send a note with your child to school.
