Mr. McCain was born in Madison, South Dakota and attended school in Howard. He then attended Dakota Wesleyan University in Mitchell. His wife Karmen is employed at Wells Fargo Bank. His daughter Leslie is married to Ben Tronnes. She just finished nursing school and is living in Vermillion. His daughter Lisa is working at GreatClips in Mitchell, and his daughter Amy is a Junior at Augustana. His stepson Seth and wife Becky live and work in Sioux Falls, and his stepdaughter Kadie works in Minneapolis. When he's not in school, Mr. McCain likes watching sporting events and playing golf. When he reads he likes to read Sports Illustrated. When he was a kid his favorite subjects were math and science. His favorite color is blue and he likes to eat pizza. His favorite drink is Diet Coke, and he roots for the Miami Dolphins. When he was younger he played football, basketball, and ran in track.
