The August 25th varsity football game vs Jim River has been moved to Wessington Springs to allow the grass at SC's game field to further develop.

Football practice for Jr. High will begin on Monday the 14th at 4pm in Woonsocket. Players will need equipment. Please have your athlete show up to Sanborn Central by 3:00 PM on the 14th to get equipment for practice. Everything but cleats will be provided. Please call the school and speak to Mr. Flatten if you have any questions.

UPDATED WITH TIME CHANGE: Blackhawk Football: High School will begin practice on August 3rd from 7:00-9:30 in the morning for the first two weeks in Woonsocket at the old game field by the cemetery. Beginning on August 14th, practice will go from 4:00-6:00 with Junior High starting practice on the 14th as well.

Thank You to the 2023 SCW state track athletes for representing us at State! Jeff defended his State Class A Boys High Jump title winning it for the second year in a row! He was also awarded the Gold Medal Award for winning the high jump for all 3 classes with a jump of 6'7.25 Thank You Cody, Tyson, Toby, and Liz for giving it your all and competing with "The Best of Them"!
