It's Senior Project Day! Thank You to the judges that took time out of their schedule to help us out. Randy Bitterman will start the presentations off at 12:15 with the topic Creating a Video Game Level followed by Evan Easton Muth Electric Internship-Benifits of an Internship.
Payton Uecker will speak on his experience Christmas at the Castle with his topic being Effects on Medical Debt and Caleb Kneen with the topic Weight Room Improvements-The Benefits of a Weight Lifting Class
Bryce Larson will conclude the day with his presentation on a College Career Fair with the topic Changed in the Workforce.
Volleyball scrimmage at 6pm 5th grade will scrimmage first 6th grade to follow around 6:45.
The JH Track meet for today has been postponed for today.

Sunday, April 13th, 2025 the PreK-5th Grade families are invited to "Under the Sea" Family Prom event from 2-4 in the school gym. The cost is $10 a family and all family member are welcome! Refreshments will be provided for a free will donation and all proceeds go towards new playground equipment.

HS and JH track practices will be at home schools today due to the weather. If the forecast doesn't change for tomorrow, the same plan will be to stay at home schools for tomorrow as well.

With the bad weather predicted for this week we will adjust practice.
Golf will practice Monday-Thursday after school in Woonsocket.
Junior High will NOT practice on Wednesday.
It looks like all practices will be indoors. We will practice in the gym.
Due to poor visibility and road conditions, Sanborn Central will start at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, April 1. MS band contest will leave upon arrival.
The State Student Council Convention has been cancelled due to expected weather conditions that could impact mid-week travel back.
Congratulations to Liz Boschee and Alexa Goertz on be chosen to the Girls Class B Allstate Teams. Liz was selected Class B Girls BB Player of the Year and 1st team Allstate and Alexa was selected Honorable Mention!

The turnout for Parent Teacher Conferences was outstanding! 96.5% of PreK-12 parents attended or communicated virtually for Parent Teacher Conferences on Wednesday, March 19th. This reflects our collaborative effort between the school and families to provide the best education for the students of Sanborn Central. Our staff sincerely appreciates your dedication to education.
It's boys basketball tournament time! All six state tournaments will air live on TV. Both A tournaments will air on SDPB1-TV, the AA’s on SDPB2-TV, and the B’s on SDPB3-TV. It was a fun filled weekend at the girls state 'B' tournament! Congratulations to the Blackhawk ladies as they reeled in a second place finish over Bennett County. It has been a fun ride this year ladies, and thank you for the journey!
